Hercules
Hercules is a beloved character in Greek mythology. Many children enjoy animated movies about the hero. Disney's animated Hercules (which loosely refers to the life and times of the Greek hero) is one of Disney's most beloved films. The story revolves around Hercules’ twelve labors. There are many characters from the ancient Greek community. Its animated cast features the voice talents of Danny DeVito and other talented actors.
Disney's Hercules is a charming film that is great for families. It doesn't have the same heroics as the original Hercules but it is a nice introduction to Greek mythology.
O Brother, Where Art Thou
O Brother, Where Art Thou is a Greek mythology movie that takes the story of Homer's epic poem, the Odyssey, and sets it in 1930s rural Mississippi. Although it is based upon the epic poem, the film does not follow it exactly and instead focuses on modern life. The setting of the story sets it apart, unlike The Odyssey, an ancient Greek mythology that was set in the Mediterranean Sea during Bronze Age.

The setting of the Greek mythology story often causes modifications to the events. The Odyssey sees Odysseus, his crew, disguise themselves as sheep, while O Brother, Where Art Thou? shows characters dressed as Klu Klux Klan member. The setting plays an important part in the story's structure, narrative, and design.
Electra
Electra (the daughter of King Agamemnon) is in mourning when her father, Clytemnestra and his wife are murdered by a rival king. Electra grows up bitter and hateful because of this tragedy. She is a young woman when she sets out to kill her father and seek revenge with Orestes. They must reconcile their passion for justice and their feelings of matricide.
Electra’s tragic story is a classic example Greek tragedy. The tale of revenge is an ideal story for playwrights. The Electra character, which is bitter, erudite and dangerous, is everything a playwright could wish for in a character.
Percy Jackson
"Percy Jackson: The Olympians" is the fifth Rick Riordan book. It tells the story of Poseidon's son. Percy gets involved in battles with deities as the story unfolds. The book includes illustrations by John Rocco and a family tree of the Greek gods. Although there are similarities between the story and other Greek mythology books. However, the author felt that it was important to include stories that were not often included in traditional retellings.
The Titanomachy, a battle between the gods and Titans, is a part of the story. Kronos, the father of the Titans, did not trust his children, so his wife hid Zeus from Kronos. The baby then barfed up Kronos's siblings, which led to the distrust of Kronos.

The 300 Spartans
Zack Snyder's The 300 Spartans has probably been a favorite of those who like Greek mythology movies. The film is based upon Frank Miller's graphic novel. It tells the story of Battle of Thermopylae. While the two stories are similar, there are also some differences. Both films feature brutality and machismo.
The film shows King Leonidas in his youth, while the historical King was approximately 60 years old at the time he was murdered at Thermopylae. King Leonidas continued to be loyal to his people, even though the age limit made it impossible for him to fight. King Xerxes succeeded him, who was younger with a beard.
