There are many questions regarding religions and how many Gods there are. There are four major religions: Christianity, Islam, Judaism and Hinduism. Each one worships a different god, but they all share the same God. This article will look at some of these religions as well as their gods.
Hinduism
Many gods are part of the Hindu religion. Many minor gods are assimilated into central pantheon and associated with great gods, either as friends or children. Hanuman, for example, is a god that appears in the Ramayana to assist Rama during the siege on Lanka. He is Parvati and Shiva’s son. Ganesha (an elephant-headed god, who is the remover and all obstacles) is another important god. His worship is at the beginning of all major undertakings.
Islam
Islam is an Islamic religion that teaches there are many gods. These immortal beings are the link that connects God and humanity. They sent messengers, like the angel Gabriel, in order to deliver God's message, to Muhammad. Angels, as such, are not subject to unbelief.
Judaism
Judaism is a religion that worships God. The Jews believed in God and made a covenant to follow the laws he had given them. Jewish people follow the law in its entirety, but try to do the best thing for God. In Jewish religious life, holiness is incorporated into every aspect of life. They do everything to glorify God and honour his work.
Christianity
Christians claim that the Bible only talks about one God. Others believe that there are multiple Gods in the Bible. This common misconception is not uncommon. For example, the Bible doesn't mention that there are 3 gods. It only says that God exists through three persons. Some Christians pretend that there are three gods.
Sikhs
Sikhs believe there are many gods that help us live our daily lives. They're not all the exact same and each individual's actions can have an impact on others. Sikh belief also places a lot of emphasis on doing good after death. The United States is home to approximately 700,000 Sikhs, most of whom are from India. Sikhs often gather in America to worship at a Gurudwara on Sunday. However there are also formal services held on Wednesday and Friday.
Buddhism
Although Buddhism is often called an "atheistic religion" in the West, it does not exclude deities. It holds that many gods are available to help people live their lives. Although these deities are made up of many forces from nature, they all have a purpose in Buddhism's worldview.
Polytheism
Polytheism can be described as a tolerant form religion. It allows the existence of multiple gods. Many different cultures have worshiped multiple gods throughout history. Exodus says that ancient Egyptians worshipped thousands, and so did many other religions.
