Ares is one among the Greek gods. He is Zeus' first son. He is not loved by his parents or any other gods. However, his best friend is Aphrodite. The god is frequently associated with violence and warfare in all its ugly manifestations. He is the god who causes bloodshed, violence, indiscriminate murder, and destruction of human life.

Ares was a war God

Ares was an ancient Greek war god. He represented the most vicious and barbaric elements of war. He was the brother To Athena, who represents the honorable and benevolent sides of war. The Greeks believed Ares to be the god of war but that he could also aid individuals in their individual battles.

Ares' bloodthirsty nature made him a difficult god to worship and led to many defeats in battle. Ares was also often placed in a pot of giants and was often the victim of Athena’s revenge.
